The Organising committee of the 3rd International Conference on e-Democracy is happy to announce that after an agreement with ICST for technical sponsorship of the conference the proceedings of e-democracy 2009 will be appearing in Springer’s LNICST (Lecture Notes of ICST = www.springer.com/lnicst), a joint publication of ICST and Springer.

All full papers accepted to be presented in the conference will be included in the proceedings volume. Note that since the format for publication is identical to the one used by authors of submitted papers, the authors of papers already submitted, or those that are already using the LNCS compatible format, do not need to change anything in the formatting of their submission.

In the light of this development and responding to the requests of many authors for an extension to the deadline for submission in order to be able to take advantage of the Easter holidays for refining and better preparing their submissions, the paper submission deadline is extended to April 27^th 2009.
