Transportation From Airport to the Centre of Athens
Your flight to Athens will land at the Athens International Airport (ELEFTHERIOS VENIZELOS). In order to reach the centre of Athens (about 30 km away) you have the following choices:

i. By Metro Line 3.

ii. By Suburban Rail that is connected to Metro Line 2.

iii. By bus using the line X95: SYNTAGMA -AEROL. ATHINON (EXPRESS) (direction SYNTAGMA)

iv. By taxi (It will cost you about 25-35 euros depending on the time).

Accomodation

Being a favorable tourist destination, the city of Athens has the capacity of hosting a large number of visitors throughout the year. There are numerous hotels that offer services at all levels. In the context of the eGovSCIS 09 conference, an agreement with selected hotels as regards special prices offered to the conference participants will be made and announced in this web page.
